Baskin-Robbins has made a comeback at Oshawa, Ont.., opening the company’s 106e global location in Canada.
Owned and operated by Kelly Wilson, an experienced franchisee, the location showcases the brand’s signature interior – spacious, bright and colorful – and will offer a full range of flavors from ice cream, frozen drinks, milkshakes, pre – packaging and fresh produce, delivery service, and a wide assortment of cakes.
“There is something magical about working with Baskin-Robbins,” Wilson said. “Maybe it’s history, the constant search for new flavors, or the vibe in our stores, or maybe it’s a combination. What is clear is that this business is all about smiles, joie de vivre and fun. When I saw the opportunity to help the brand return to Oshawa, I knew it was the right decision for me and my family.
Wilson said she and her team are committed to investing time and effort in providing customers with a friendly attitude and desserts, but with a particular emphasis on cakes.
“I obviously enjoy ice cream, but I have an absolute passion for cakes,” Wilson said. “There is a lot of joy in baking a personalized cake for a guest, knowing that they will enjoy it with their loved ones and that the memory will last for years. “
With 25 years of franchise experience, Wilson opened her own boutique in Whitby in 2018. Supported by her family, she has hired four employees and is still looking to fill three more part-time positions.
